The Partnership staff will educate a clients about what an eviction is, and what steps that they can take to challenge an eviction if they feel they are wrongly or unjustly being separated from their place of residence or are receiving unfair treatment from the local public housing authority via filing a grievance. FHP informs the resident that they may be eligible for the representation by Neighborhood Legal Services. Tenants who file grievances with the local public housing authority are also referred to Neighborhood Legal Services.
