Education and Outreach

Introduction

Looking to actively and positively further its mission of “creating, promoting and supporting equal housing,” the Fair Housing Partnership has expanded its outreach efforts into the community.  This outreach consists of a free training offered to various non-profit organizations and service providers that address the needs of the different communities protected under fair housing law, along with local community groups, municipalities and housing authorities.  Ultimately, our education and outreach efforts aim to raise awareness of fair housing issues within our community.  The more informed community members are of housing discrimination and the resources available to them, the better we can work towards equal housing choice and opportunity in Pittsburgh.
